NATIONALISM

Nationalism: A Citizen’s Sacred Duty What is Nationalism? When you search "nationalism" on Google, you find: The desire of a group of people (sharing common race, culture, language, etc.) to form an independent country. A feeling of love, pride, and superiority for one’s own nation. But in my opinion , Nationalism is not an option; it is a fundamental duty and responsibility. Our Freedom, Our Heroes We, Indians, owe our freedom and peaceful lives to the countless sacrifices of our freedom fighters. Every goosebump we feel during the Indian Army’s parade on 15th August (Independence Day) and 26th January (Republic Day) is a tribute to their sacrifice. Thousands laid down their lives for us to breathe in free air. We live in a proud nation called India — our beloved Bharat Mata .
